They were my old band, a bunch of musical mavericks who played a twisted mashup of reggae, hip hop, thrash and punk, in the early 90's.

Tokyo record shopping is really fun!
In late 2001 I visited Japan for 2 weeks, to research several magazine
articles. There's over 300 record shops in Tokyo's Shibuya district, and
I made it my mission to visit as many as I could!
Who is Piero Umiliani?
He's an Italian soundtrack composer who wrote Mah Na Mah Na, back in 1968
(for a Swedish soft porn doco), later performed by the Muppets. I've been
doing some research on him - find out more.

Len Lye
NZ's greatest artist/film maker. The Govett Brewster Gallery in New Plymouth
is the home of the Len Lye Archive. Lye's amazing films were made by scratching directly onto the film's surface.
Martin F Emond
Local artist, got his start in comics (Lobo, Verotika, Judge Dread, White Trash), worked in the US. Also involved with designs for Illicit Clothing. Did some fantastic artwork for my old band the Picassos. Top bloke. RIP.

One of the greatest artists to have walked the planet in the last 100
years.
